All about the Show

Ardara, Home of the Festivals, has been running the biggest Show in Donegal for over 100 years.
The Ardara Agricultural and Industrial Show is a day promising everything from top cattle, sheep, horses and ponies to a packed marquee of exhibits and a thrilling afternoon programme.
It really is a day for the whole family, offering wide range of entertainment.
In 2013 it was the final key event of the town's impressive Gathering Week, and had the same role again in 2014.
In scenic Sandfield for the fourth year, it is a day not to be missed.
Begin your show day early and see judging in the cattle and pony rings from 10am.
At 11am the sheep and horse classes take place.
Judges will decide where the major prizes go and who goes forward to other shows throughout the country.
See the Ardara livestock story unfolding in the separate rings.
All the information you need is the free catalogue.
At the other end of the showfield is the giant marquee, with over 120 classes displaying home produce, photography and painting, arts and crafts, children’s classes and everything from the garden.
You can visit after judging which begins at 10pm.
